
Veneta Georgieva was born in Dobritch, Bulgaria,
in 1977. Still in her childhood her singable voice was noticed by her
family .At the age of six, she began to study folklore dance and music.
She joined to children's choir of Dobrudja State Ensemble.Her singing-master
was Dalina Entcheva-one of the soloist and choir performers at this
ensemble.She also attended a folklore dancing group "Dobrotica"
by leadership of Alexander Alexandrov . Special mention deserves her
participation in the folk choir. Because of good soprano voice of Veneta
she sang first voice.Many songs were written especially for children's
choir."Pesen za Dobrudja", "Vecherqi Rado","Prez
gora vyrvqha" were one of the best performances by this choir.During
her 7 years there, she was a soloist except her participating in a choir
.With her good singing voice she amazed the audience of a lot of concert
in Bulgaria- the festival in Koprivshtica, summer folklore festival
in Debrene, National festival in Tyrgovishte and Shoumen, town concert
of Dobrudja State Ensemble in Dobritch.
She also participated in annual concerts of primary
school"Stefan Karadja" and Mathematic Secondary school "Ivan
Vazov" where she was a student.
Although her decision to continue her education in
Mathematic school and then in University of Economics-Varna she has
never stopped to sing because of her endless love of folklore music
and pleasure of singing.
Presently,Veneta is living in Boston.She is
continuing her education of Economics in Quincy college.
